Sarah Taylor of the Colonel Palmer House in Crystal Lake returns to continue our Prairie Roots program series to share the fascinating history of indigenous and early settler native plant usage in McHenry County. From earth to kitchen, discover the science behind safe, modern-day practices and native plant knowledge that has survived for thousands of years.
