Event Details
Discover the fascinating lives of Illinois’ birds of prey through interactive, hands-on experiences. Participants will explore the science behind raptors with engaging activities and real-world investigations. Get up close with authentic specimens and dissect actual owl pellets to uncover what these incredible predators eat. This immersive program is perfect for curious minds eager to learn about the natural world in a fun and educational setting!
K-4th grade program. Adults are required to stay for the duration of the program.
This program is FREE and open to the public. Hosted by the University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist educators.
Registration is required and is managed by the Extension office.
