Get ready to explore the tiny but amazing world of insects and other invertebrates! Kids will discover cool characteristics and species through photos, preserved specimens, live critters, and—best of all—by catching their own bugs. It’s a hands-on, high-energy adventure perfect for curious young nature lovers! Come explore the incredible world hidden in our own backyards! Adults are required to stay for the duration of the program. If weather permits, this program will be held outside. 
 
This program is FREE and open to the public. Hosted by the University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist educators. Registration is required and is managed by the Extension office. 

Age: Kindergarten-Grade 4
