Come and discover Chicago’s long over-looked role nurturing fledgling flyers into America’s full-blown aviation industry. Michael Haupt, aviation historian and author of Aviation Chicago Timeline, explores the period in history when Chicago held the largest airshow, boasted the largest runway, and became a hub for airmail.
