Join us at Woodstock Public Library for a NEW monthly resource fair. Beginning January 14, 2026 (every 2nd Wednesday of the month) from 1:30-3:30pm, visit the booths of local organizations offering information, services, and more.
On January 13, February 11, and March 11, the Community Hub will host:
- Staff from Woodstock Public Library offering drop-in tech assistance for help with smartphones, laptops, tablets, and using the library’s online resources and digital downloads
- McHenry County Department of health offering blood pressure reading and/or BMI measurement for FREE. A1C screenings (includes blood pressure and BMI measurements), will also be available for $20 per person.
- Turning Point of McHenry County sharing information about domestic violence prevention, emergency shelters, and other ways they confront domestic violence in our area
- Representatives from Dorr Towship onsite to share information about voter resources, emergency supports, the thriving SOAR@Dorr services for seniors, and other services provided to local residents
- Illinois Tollway, discussing I-Pass Assist financial assistance programs, free I-Pass sticker tags, and more
- Pace representatives onsite with information about the local Dial-A-Ride service, ADA Paratransit Services, routes, and travel tips
- Options and Advocacy, our county’s resource for Early Intervention services for children from birth to age 3, the Autism Resource Center, and other services to support the development of young children and their families
- Our local University of Illinois Extension office will offer nutritional information, resources, and information about the other community education programs initiatives in our area
- City of Hope, one of the largest and most advanced cancer research and treatment organizations in the United States in neighboring Zion, IL
- The McHenry County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), providing the community a safe place to find hope and support on the journey to improve mental health
This event is FREE and open to the public. No advance registration is required – walk-ins of all ages are welcome. Visitors are invited to grab a stamp card to be stamped at each organization’s booth to reveal the word of the day. Fill out your contact information on your completed stamp card to be entered in a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card.
The Community Hub will expand beginning Wednesday April 8 to include space for 8 additional organizations in the upper level of the library, including services from Live4Lali offering overdose prevention resources and FREE Naloxone, among several others.
