Volunteer tax preparers from AARP will be at the library on Tuesdays and Fridays beginning on February 6. To schedule an appointment please contact Senior Services at 815-344-3555.

This four-week course is intended for those with little or no computer experience. Covers basic computer functions and introduces Microsoft Word, web navigation, email, and resume templates.

The McHenry County Department of Health will offer free glucose screenings and information on community resources for diabetes. No fasting needed. Walk-ins only-no appointments required.

Don’t miss this display of memorabilia from the filming of Groundhog Day in Woodstock in 1992. You’ll see sketches of set designs, pictures during filming and newspaper clippings. The display will be up all weekend.
